1. Who We Are
Restored Domains is operated by Chesco Ventures, LLC, a Pennsylvania-registered limited liability company. References to "we," "us," or "Restored Domains" throughout these Terms refer to Chesco Ventures, LLC, d/b/a Restored Domains.
2. What You Are Purchasing
Any sale completed through Restored Domains consists solely of the domain name registration itself. Unless explicitly agreed to in writing prior to sale, the purchase does not include:
- Any website, web content, design, or code currently associated with the domain
- Any collateral, branding, logos, or marketing materials
- Any existing web traffic, search engine rankings, or historical analytics
- Any email accounts, email addresses, or email history associated with the domain
- Any social media accounts or handles, even if similarly named
- Any goodwill, customer lists, or business relationships associated with prior use of the domain
If a domain currently resolves to a placeholder, parked page, or prior content, that content is not part of the sale and may be removed by us at any time before transfer.
3. No Guarantee of Trademark or Legal Clearance
We make no representation or warranty that your intended use of a purchased domain will not infringe on the trademark, trade name, or other intellectual property rights of any third party. It is your sole responsibility to conduct your own due diligence, including trademark searches, before purchasing and using any domain.
4. Pricing and Offers
Listed prices reflect our assessment of fair market value; however, we are open to reasonable offers. Offers may be submitted by emailing Hello@restoreddomains.com, and we will generally respond within 1 to 2 business days. All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. A sale is not final, and no domain will be transferred, until payment has cleared through escrow as described below.
5. Payment and Escrow
All sales are conducted through Escrow.com, a licensed third-party escrow service. Buyers submit payment to Escrow.com, not directly to Restored Domains. Escrow fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Full process details are available on our How a Purchase Works page.
6. Domain Transfer
Upon confirmation of cleared payment, we will initiate transfer of the domain to the buyer via account transfer or authorization (EPP) code, depending on registrars involved. Typical transfer timelines are up to two weeks from agreed terms to completed transfer, though timing can be affected by registrar-specific requirements or restrictions outside our control (for example, domains that were recently registered or transferred may be subject to a registry lock period).
7. No Warranties
Domains are sold on an "as-is" basis. Except as expressly stated in these Terms, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the domain, including but not limited to any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your purchase, sale, transfer, use, or inability to use any domain name or related services, even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company’s total cumulative liability for any and all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms, any domain name, or any related services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to the Company for the applicable domain name giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, the Company’s liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Communications and Opt-Out
If you receive outreach from Restored Domains and are not interested, you may opt out of future communications at any time by replying to our email with "Not interested." We will not contact you further after receiving such a request. We do not share your name or email address with any third party except as necessary to complete a domain transaction you have agreed to. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle your information.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time a sale is agreed to will govern that transaction. Continued use of our site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
